Conservatives on Social Action
This week, David Cameron made a speech about the necessity of public support in politics and called for more people to take part in Social Action projects. Conservatives lead the way on social action and with over 150 conservative led projects that support communities and individuals up and down the country. These projects give people the power and support to bring about positive social change in society. He praised the work of 50 or so MPs and Candidates who have set up ‘Jobs Clubs’ which support people who are trying to get back into work. He also supported Mark Garnier’s mentoring programme in Kidderminster, which is one of many mentoring programmes with schools to inspire kids to aim high.
